These finishes have their fashions but are constantly developing to suit the time. Colourwashes with their abstract appeal, when applied boldly for an Irish pub or with subtlety to give a soft chic feel to a domestic interior or multiple distressed finishes which rely on visually textural qualities as much as colour for their interest and impart a sharp sophisticated effect for an office boardroom or reception feature wall.
